Yoga bag, keys, and my cool new air filter mask. Just your everyday necessities for a day out in the city. Yes, I might look like the creepy guy from Silence of the Lambs, but at least I’m breathing in cleaner air. And with the current hazardous air quality in Taiwan, I’m totally cool with looking like a freak.
I’ve been eyeing one of these masks for awhile, but at NT$4500 (US$150), I never got around to it. This all changed yesterday, when I randomly found some for NT$380 ($US$13) at a motorcycle clothing and helmet shop. If you are living in Kaohsiung, I strongly advise you get one of these bad boys at NK DESIGN , located on Bo-Ai Rd, just north of the Houyi MRT.
